As eyes are the windows to the soul...

...So are windows the eyes of a house!

We wandered down to get some pictures of the windows that we were helpfully informed had been installed.
But we were kept on the outer...
locked out...
stuck behind a fence...
(so close, yet so far)...
because....

The brickie was there adding bricks to the front of the house! The front door is temporary, the windows are not! The façade is really starting to take shape now.
You can see some more of the windows around the side... through that lovely fence again. The keen eyed might spot some temporary downpipes and a human apendage. We hope to get some more varied pictures this weekend.

It's flying along now. Love the pale roof, pale brick, timber window combo. Timeless.

We haven't seen you down there yet, but hope to meet up with you soon :)

I can't believe you are locked out!!! Yours must be the only builder who locks the gate :(

Slowly but surely it continues also looking forward to meeting you, and thanks for the photo you sent me!

Pysically no (fence and all doors wide open yesterday), technically yes. We have been told that we are not allowed on site for OH&S reasons. Also that the tradies have been instructed to stop work if we do go on site. We don't want the tradies to stop, and we don't want to get the SS or our builder off-side any more than we have to. So while Pete (the brickie) is lovely, our choice is to stay off site while he is working.
