Coat of Many Colours

Selection Process

One thing about Rawdon Hill is that their colour selection is definitely small-builder style. There is no big flashy design studio like you have with most of the major builders. There is a room with all the options for everything except tiles and carpet. It's good if you like simple (you could probably pick all your colours without getting out of your chair), and fine if you know what you really want (you will get a credit for the base option to go towards your personal selection). It's just not glamorous.

Having said that, I think the process of choosing your carpet at a carpeting store, tiles at a tiling store, where you get the assistance of the people who live and breathe those things was excellent. Couldn't be happier with our tile selection; the people at AVJ Ceramics in Dandenog were great at finding what we wanted. Similar story with Dandenong Carpet Choice. For your brick you really need to find out what your options are and go see them in person on a finished house, and both Boral and Austral will provide those to you. Anyway, what we chose:
