My wife and I have been married for 15 years, with children for the last 3 (two precious little girls). What we are building will be the fourth place we will call home, the first and current being a rental, the second one a pre-loved 11sq home that we loved and renovated for almost 10 years before realising it was never going to be what we wanted (or needed for our growing family).
So here we are, sold the first house, bought the land and bravely entered into our first (with some false starts) building contract. Its taking longer than we hoped, but we do like where we are at the moment, so it's not unpleasant to wait.
So far we really like our estate where we have ended up. They are building the park which our little girls will love to play in, and they have plans for schools that they can attend and shops we can make use of... More importantly, all the neighbours we have met so far have been lovely, welcoming, friendly people and we are looking forward to being a part of this new community.
