31st Received sales person's attempt, which we modified and sent back... this pattern continued for awhile.

Settled on our block of land!
26th Sat with NBG sales assistant to direct re-drawing of plan
28th Plans setnt to NBG head office

29th First Quote / contract meeting with NBG. Quote used original plans, had to pay further deposit to continue (mistake)

19th Draft contract from NBG finally with dimensioned plans.
20th Banked returned deposit from PD
22nd Sent list of issues with plans and contract to NBG

22nd Crisis meeting with NBG to ensure our issues with contract and plans were understood

19th Requote from NBG showed unexpected price increase
20th Asked to speak to NBG manager, felt like bunny in headlights.

29th Went to the Rawdon Hill display at Cascades on Clyde. Met Jillian. Made decision (final) to build the Montague. Signed up.
Feb
1st Missed call from NBG
2nd Recieved call from NBG manager, by then too little to late, walked away (deposit lost)

5th Paid initial deposit to RH

5th Selected carpet at Dandenong Carpet Choice, and Tiles at AVJ Ceramics in Dandenong.
13th Colour selection appointment
26th Signed contract.

10th Remaining fences constructed

16th Plans approved by council.

26th Gutters are up, plumbing is in, battens are going on

1st Windows delivered (yay!)
3rd Temporary fencing, house walls wrapped.
6th Shower bases, cavity slider frames, electrical rough in, ducted vacuum
9th Windows are in, bricks to rest of house started
10th Bath in, plumbing for taps, ducted heating ducts
13th Insulation to walls, bricks half way around house
19th Bricks completed, and plastering started
25th Received invoice for lock-up stage
29th Plastering completed.
31st Carpentry started (doors, architraves, skirting, eaves, shelves, etc)
Sept
3rd Brick gable filled in, all doors hung.
10th Other gables filled in, kitchen cabinets etc installed, most of the skirting boards done.
12th Carpentry (round 1) completed.
15th Received invoice for Fixing Stage
16th Painting started
24th Interior painting complete, Tiles delivered.
27th Tiling started
